One By One Yawatta Hosby Books
i remember reading reviews that mentioned "twisted" and "gruesome" and i'm guessing that's why it ended up on my list because i love horror or true thriller.....but i got to 65% of this book read and and there was one death of this large party of "deep in the woods" campers.......one--and it seemed to be a drowning worthy of LIFETIME TV and not horror.....so those that "love" horror that loved this book either read entire book and something broke out in the last hour of the book, or their idea of horror is "true blood"....either way, this wasn't for me.......Product details

One By One Yawatta Hosby Books Reviews
I have no clue how this book is. I paid for it, but it won't download. I have tried numerous times on all of my devices. Looks like I just lost some money with this one. Sigh, it happens.
A little slow in the beginning, but then I could not put it down, it was really good!
This book was a good read. What I like most was the author's style of writing and the fact that she produced a very interesting plot.
One By One would appeal to anyone that loves a great, suspenseful story and I highly recommend it.
Who would think that a weekend trip could go so wrong? Fast paced, page Turner will have the reader wondering if they have remembered all the clues.
First time reading something by Yawatta Hosby. Am I glad I did! What a page turner. I kept changing my mind who was the killer and was totally shocked by the end.
Nine young adults take a trip to an isolated cabin in the woods, the site of a tragedy that haunts two siblings within the group. The siblings are planning to sell the cabin so that they can finally have closure and put the past behind them. To their dismay, one of their friends invited a stranger along. He seems decent enough...until a young woman in the group is murdered and the stranger is caught pulling her body from the lake. Suddenly, he's the target of suspicion, but is he really the killer when shortly thereafter, other members of the group are discovered dead?
It's not long before friends begin suspecting one another as they fear for their lives while trying to piece together the mystery. Is the stranger the killer? Or perhaps they've been set up by the potential buyer. Or, could it be one of locals--a crazed serial killer, maybe? Aside from the stranger, the members of the group are good friends and know each other well. Or do they?
"One by One" is a gripping suspense novel that will have you guessing who is responsible for murders. You'll think you have the mystery solved, only to find yourself later convinced that it's someone else...then someone else after that! But don't worry...you'll finally learn the truth by the end!
I truly enjoyed this engrossing story and look forward to reading more books by Yawatta Hosby.
This had a very interesting twist to it and I think it is a perfect read for Halloween. There were parts I hated - like how everyone was constantly thinking & saying how Rae was so fragile & couldn't handle anything .. she was stronger than all of them combined. I don't want to spoil anything so I'll just leave it at that but I would recommend it as long as you don't mind gore.
